This project was taken right through from design to final construction stage. The clients want a simple design that blending with the existing home. The solution was to add a simple form which extends the living area both indoor and outdoor to the north allowing for afternoon and morning sun. Bi-fold doors were used to allow easy access inside and out. The material palette matches the existing with the main exterior covered in painted white vertical grooved SHADOWclad.
